On Thursday morning, drove to Historic Wendover Air field, home of the training center for the Enola Gay. After the train tour several members drove to Great Basin National Park for lunch then proceeded to Wendover. Wednesday morning the Club took a Nevada Northern Train Ride & tour of the working maintenance & restoration center for 10 locomotives. After checking in several members enjoyed dinner at the local “JailHouse Restaurant.
Upon arriving at Middlegate Station members enjoyed lunch before continuing the trip to Ely. The caravan stopped in Fallon for a rest break then was delayed on Highway 50 due to road construction.
